By accessing or using the Parental Control service at parental-ctrl.com ("Service," "we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Parental Control. Please read them carefully.

Parental Control is a web-based dashboard that enables parents and legal guardians to monitor and manage their minor children's internet usage. Features include website and content blocking, screen time limits, activity reporting, and schedule management.

The Service is provided on an ongoing basis and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time with or without notice.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose data you enter into the Service
• You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms

The Service is not intended for use by children. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.

You may register using your email address and password, or via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access at privacy@parental-ctrl.com

You may register only one account per person. You may not transfer your account to another person.

The Service allows parents to create profiles for and monitor the online activity of their minor children. By using these features, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of the children whose profiles you create
• You have the legal right to collect, submit, and use data about those children in this manner
• You will use the Service solely for lawful parental monitoring purposes

You acknowledge that laws governing the monitoring of minors' online activity vary by jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to comply with all applicable laws, including notifying your child of monitoring where required by law.

As a parental monitoring tool, our Service collects activity data from devices used by children at your explicit direction and with your consent as their parent or guardian. Children do not create accounts. Their interaction with the Service is limited to submitting unblock requests through the blocked-page interface on their device.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Monitor any individual other than your own minor children without appropriate legal authority
• Harass, stalk, abuse, or harm any individual
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service by automated means
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these provisions.

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service or any part thereof without our express written permission.

Third-party trademarks referenced on the Service, including YouTube, are the property of their respective owners. Reference to these trademarks is for descriptive purposes only, to identify content and platforms our filtering features apply to. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC.

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid subscription tiers or modify pricing in the future. If we introduce fees, we will notify you and clearly disclose all applicable charges and billing terms before you are required to pay. You will always have the opportunity to stop using the Service before incurring any charges.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

The Service is a tool to assist parents; it is not a substitute for parental supervision and does not guarantee that all harmful content will be blocked.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (d) any claim that data you submitted to the Service caused damage to a third party.

By you: You may close your account at any time via Account Settings → Delete account. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver: You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms at this URL and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
